For No Other Reason Than

We’re so used to believing that a reason suffices. What is something you do for “no other reason than…”? Write a scene or character where something is situated, kept, placed, retained but without a complete, legible reason. Introduce the unreasonable and illegible, the inexplicable within the reason.
