About The Nestling Course

Online on Thinkific, rolled out twice a year.

From idea to fruition, finish the draft of a short narrative (short story, essay, chapter) over five highly generative lesson modules, including prompts, assignments, and lecture videos.

Anyone can take this course who would like support starting and finishing a short piece of prose from the beginning to the end of the drafting process. Though any writer, from novice to expert, may complete this course, some prompt writing experience may be preferable.

If you need help creating a habit out of creative writing or want to complete an original piece of prose of any kind—this is the course for you. Participants will receive in-text notes and a brief letter from their fellow participants as well as more extensive edits and suggestions from Sammi. In class prompts are tailored to each group and focus on revision technique.
